I remember when I saw the Sistine Chapel in person. I was traveling around Europe with my friend Mike Clark.
We were told to get to the Vatican Museum long before it opened, be the first in line, and then RUN to the Sistine Chapel (which is far from the entrance) in order to beat the crowd.
So we did.
And for about 45 minutes we had the Sistine Chapel to ourselves.
Here is a great way to see the Sistine Chapel, if you can’t get there early and run through the Vatican Museum:
